In spite of the devastation and aftermath of Hurricane Irma and Maria the British Virgin Islands Association of Compliance Officers (ACO) is pleased that it continued providing support, guidance and training to Compliance Officers, Money Laundering Reporting Officers and other professionals in the Territory.

BVI ACO hosted a luncheon for members with guest speaker Glenford Malone on the topic - Proposed changes to the AML Regulations and AML Code of Practice.

BVI ACO chairman L. Marlon Marquis presented the topic entitled "Compliance Officers and Trust Managers - How the two can co-exist" at the STEP Conference.

BVI ACO held its Bring your Lunch roundtable discussions for members only - discussion topic: suggestions for changes to the AML Regulations and AML Code of Practice.
