A Note of Thanks on BVIACO 5th Annual Compliance Conference

It’s been one (1) week after our conference under the theme ‘Navigating Regulatory Compliance in Today’s World’ and the hype is still buzzing…

The Executive Committee of the BVI Association of Compliance Officers and Practitioners (BVIACO) expresses its sincere appreciation to the sponsors of this year’s conference. Our conference was a reality because of the generous sponsorship contributions to the event. We salute our sponsors and wish continued success on their organizations. Our sponsors were:

          Diamond Sponsor                                                          Zoom Sponsor

Tricor Services (BVI) Limited       BVI Association of Registered Agents

The 5th Annual Compliance Conference hosted by the BVIACO held on 1-2 December 2021 was hailed a grand success. The Executive Committee of the BVIACO committed to the charge of hosting its annual conference despite challenges to organize an in-person event presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Embracing new technologies, the Executive Committee set out on an ambitious course to host for the very first time, a completely virtual event. The conference was entirely virtual bringing together notable industry experts and practitioners, both locally, regionally, and internationally, who spoke on relevant topics, emerging issues, and provided updates on recent developments within the sphere of compliance and the financial services industry. The conference flowed seamlessly highlighting the importance of Compliance Officers and Practitioners to the ongoing fight against money laundering and other illicit crimes and business practices.

Compliance and industry professionals have shared a plethora of positive feedback about our dynamic speakers, presentation content, and the overall structure of the conference.

Here’s a few….

“The conference and training were very good.”

“The conference was very informative.”

“Congrats to the BVIACO for a successful Compliance conference. It was a great event.”

“I want to congratulate you and the team as you pulled off a great conference and great speakers with very interesting themes. Well done.”

“These kinds of forums are the best way to help your associates with good up-to-date information and plant the seed for them to be more investigative, go deeper in certain cases, and do a better job on a daily basis.”

The Executive Committee of the BVIACO was ecstatic about the positive reviews from our industry colleagues and speakers, and doubly humbled by the event’s resounding success supported by BVIACO’s members, and so many industry and Compliance professionals who were in attendance.
